Holy moly these ASIAN SPICED NORI CHIPS are moreish! So much flavour! So much crunch! They are the perfect snack to take to the cinema or as an alternative to potato chips. Sneak them into your lunchbox for a healthy afternoon nibble. LOVE! 


  • 10 sheets organic nori sheets*
  • 1 tablespoon organic toasted sesame oil*
  • 1 tablespoon Nuilife coconut BBQ sauce*
  • Juice + zest from ½ an orange*
  • Handful organic coconut chips*
  • Handful almonds*
  • 2cm thumb of ginger, finely grated*
  • 1 clove garlic, finely grated*
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds*
  • ½ teaspoon maple syrup*
  • Pinch cayenne*
  • Pinch Himalayan salt*

  • Preheat oven to 150°C.
  • Rip the nori sheets into large pieces & place on two large baking trays, making sure they are spread apart, in a single layer.
  • To make the Asian sauce, combine toasted sesame oil, coconut BBQ sauce, zest & juice of half an orange, ginger, garlic, maple, cayenne & salt in a bowl. Whisk briefly.
  • Dip your fingers into the Asian sauce & flick the liquid onto the pieces of nori. You want a light coating; the nori will go soggy otherwise.
  • Place trays in the oven for a few minutes, until the nori pieces are crisp. They burn easily so be vigilant!
  • Transfer the toasted nori to a large mixing bowl.
  • Put almonds on one baking tray & the coconut chips on another. Bake until both are crisp – the nuts will take longer than the coconut.
  • Mix the toasted coconut chips, almonds & raw sesame seeds in with the nori pieces. Enjoy!
