Festive Dukkah

As we approach Christmas, we’re featuring easy recipes that you can make for friends & family. This FESTIVE DUKKAH makes a thoughtful – and inexpensive! – gift & also works well on a food platter. Simply cut a crusty loaf of bread into bite-sized pieces, dip in premium olive oil (we love Selevoo) & dip into the dukkah. Easy!


  • 2 cups almonds*
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds*
  • 1 cup sesame seeds*
  • 1 cup pepitas*
  • 1 cup pistachios*
  • ¼ cup cumin seeds*
  • ¼ cup coriander seeds*
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder*
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt*
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne*

  • Combine nuts & seeds in a large bowl.
  • Add spices to a small heavy-based saucepan & heat on the stovetop for a few minutes, until they begin to release their aroma. Take care not to burn them!
  • When the spices are cool, add them & the nut & seed mix to a food processor & blitz until you reach a consistency that you like. We prefer a chunky dukkah with lots of texture; if you prefer something finer, process the mixture for longer.
  • Serve with crusty bread dipped in premium olive oil. Alternatively, divide dukkah into small glass jars to present as gifts.
