Banana Spice Biscuits

Mt. Uncle’s Banana Flour is one of Goodies & Grains many unique products. The flour can replace plain or self-raising flour (simply add two teaspoons of baking soda to one cup of banana flour for self-raising). It’s a100% natural food source made only from green Australian Lady Finger Bananas, making it naturally high in Potassium, Magnesium, Dietary Fiber & Vitamin E. 


  • 1 cup Mt. Uncles Banana flour
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1 cup Currants
  • 10 Medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon Alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Mesquite powder
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Goodies & Grains Coconut oil, melted

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Put all ingredients into a food processor & process until a crumb-like consistency is achieved.
  3. Roll biscuit dough into small balls, then press with a spatula to make flat.
  4. Put biscuits on two greased oven trays & bake for 15 – 25 mins, flipping over once during cooking. The baking time will vary according to the type of oven you have & the thickness of the biscuits. You want them to be fairly soft, as they will harden once cool.
  5. Cool on cooling racks before eating.
