Spicy Coconut Barbecue Party Mix

This nut mix is a party starter! It’s the perfect blend of savoury & sweet, with a mild hum of spice that is sure to impress your guests! We’re big fans of coconut BBQ sauce in the Goodies’ kitchen; after trying this nut mix, we think you’ll be addicted too.

Ingredients

• ½ cup macadamias*
• ½ cup raw cashews*
• ½ cup pecans*
• ½ cup blanched almonds*
• ¼ cup chia seeds*
• 1 cup coconut flakes*
• 1 tbsp Screaming Seeds Marakesh Magic*
• 3 tbsp Nuilife coconut BBQ sauce*
• 1 tbsp Goodies & Grains coconut oil*
• Generous pinch salt*

Method

• Preheat oven to 150°C.
• Combine all ingredients, except chia seeds & coconut flakes in a large bowl, mix with hands until well combined.
• Transfer mixture to an oven tray & roast for 10 mins, turning once to avoid the nuts burning.
• Mix in the coconut flakes & chia seeds & roast for a further 4 – 5 mins, until the mixture is golden brown.
• Cool nut mixture and keep in jars, or eat straight away!
